Our newest campus ministry, students at Colby-Sawyer gather weekly at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church for Soul Food – dinner, conversation & candlelight prayer.

Soul Food: Eat, Talk, Pray

Free Home-Cooked Dinner, Conversation & Candlelight Prayer with Communion
Welcoming students, young adults, and all who seek a spiritual home

Everyone is invited for all or part of the evening.  We eat first, have conversation around the table, then go into the church to pray.  This year’s Soul Food topics & speakers have included

  • Finding Your Purpose: Faith & Career Choices
  • Prof. Ann Page Stecker
  • Bishop Gene Robinson

 

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

Students are also invited to Sunday worship at St. Andrew’s, a lively congregation with lots of people of all ages, and opportunities for learning, fun and service to the community.  

Sunday Eucharist at 8am and 10am.  

 

Christian Fellowship & Faith Club

Student clubs on campus, the Christian Fellowship meets for worship and prayer each week, and the Faith Club is a multifaith organization that sponsors events about religion and society, as well as opportunities for students to share and learn about each other’s faith traditions.

How to find us:
St Andrew’s is at 52 Gould Road. Either cross Seamans Road behind the Sawyer Center and walk down Gould Road for a bit and the church will be on your left, or go down main Street and cut through the path behind the town offices (the white building across from Subway) and you’ll see the church — wood & stone building with a red door.
